Courage for success

Since the mid-1990s, the transport industry has a reliable partner it can count on: TimoCom Soft- und Hardware GmbH! The huge demand for a freight and vehicle exchange offering true value for money was apparent back then. 

And from this scenario, the idea originated to close this gap in the market. No sooner than the idea was born, the die-hard freight forwarders Jens Thiermann and Jürgen Moorbrink, along with the IT experts Gunther Matzaitis and Oliver Schubert devoted every spare minute to realising their shared vision.
After months of preparation working day and night it was finally there: TimoCom Soft- und Hardware GmbH was founded in April 1997. And along with it, the freight and vehicle exchange TC Truck&Cargo® also took off, true to the motto "Carriers meet computer" the freight and vehicle exchange came to life.

Freight along with vehicle capacity have since been successfully offered for exchange in this database since 13 years. And all this by means of uniquely simple programme navigation and at a convincing price.

Autumn 2009 saw the next big step in the company's development: The product launch of TC eBid®. The tendering platform has been developed to optimise the European contract business for the whole of the transport chain. The platform simplifies business processes between hauliers, logistics companies as well as the shippers and makes business more productive and more transparent.
